Our stay at Bovey Castle was enchanting, with magnificent grounds and breathtaking views. The falconry experience was a highlight, as was the excellent service we received from Jon and Sarah, who were both approachable and keen to ensure our comfort. While our room was spacious and well-appointed, we did face some challenges during dining as the service felt rushed at times. Overall, it was a memorable getaway, especially for families, but the dining experience left us wanting a bit more.
Bovey Castle offers a mix of charming atmosphere and engaging activities, making it a delightful family getaway. However, our experience with dining fell short due to service delays and mixed food quality. While the historical allure of the hotel adds to its charm, I found both the service and breakfast options could be improved for a more cohesive experience.
Bovey Castle is a beautiful property with stunning architectural features and engaging children's activities that add a unique charm to the experience. However, the dining service is lacking, as the atmosphere in the Brasserie does not meet the 5-star expectations, and there are inconsistencies in the service quality. Though I enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the issues with cleanliness in the room and the dining experience made my stay less than ideal.

Bovey Castle truly offers a memorable experience with its stunning grounds and luxurious amenities. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, enhancing the comfort of the stay. The dining options are top-notch, particularly at the Great Western restaurant. However, while the service was attentive, I did find a couple of facilities that could use some improvement, especially in the pool area.
